Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, 23-year-old Actress Jennifer Lawrence began honing her craft in plays at Christ Methodist Church. On a trip to New York City with her mother in 2004, the 5’10 1/2 beauty was difficult to hide from modeling and casting agents. After her first audition, agents told her mother that “it was the best cold read by a 14- year-old they had ever heard.”
