WAX Welcomes Stefanie Bassett as Director of Business Development

Editorial company/creative collective WAX has strengthened its leadership team appointing Stefanie Bassett to the role of Director of Business Development.

With over a decade experience managing production, business development and sales, Bassett brings a wealth of experience to WAX. “Through many conversations,” Bassett says, “Toni and I discovered how like-minded we were on the current state of the business and where we see the industry changing. WAX is a strong brand with smart goals and insanely talented creatives, so to be a part of this company at this point in time is a dream come true.”

During her storied career, Bassett has held EP and business development roles at the likes of Uppercut, jumP Editorial and Poetica and collaborated with all the major Agency networks. Most recently, she worked on Bvlgari’s “The Litas Roma” short film for Tribeca Film Festival, with Grey San Francisco on “Find Your Reason” for Fitbit Stories, and with Grey New York on the last three major Volvo Campaigns.

In her new role, Bassett hopes to leverage her past experience and current belief that positivity is a powerful tool to help fulfill the potential of the brand and build broader awareness. “This is an exciting opportunity for me,” she adds. “I hope that my past experience in the industry and years I have put in to creating healthy positive relationships will allow me to plug WAX into strong opportunities, and find new business avenues resulting in constant growth.”

“I have always wanted to work with Stefanie and we created this position for her, according to Managing Partner, Lipari, “I love Stefanie’s energy, her hustle, her creativity and her sense of humor. She is the ideal fit for WAX and a integral part of our future success.”
