Editorial company Whitehouse Post has bolstered their roster with the addition of multi-faceted editor Ryan Boucher. The widely traveled editor calls London home, but spends much of his time in the US and in Australia, where he initially launched his career.

With over a decade’s worth of editorial experience, Boucher has applied his creative talents across mediums from high-profile feature films to music videos for Disclosure and Wiz Khalifa. Notable commercial projects include the Spikes Asia award-winning “Rethink Role Models” for Samsung out of Iris Worldwide, Nike’s “Thanks Paula” for Wieden+Kennedy and “The Artist’s Journey” for Guinness out of AMV BBDO. Boucher has teamed up with agencies including 72andSunny, M&C Saatchi, Grey, Havas and JWT; and his work has been recognized by D&AD, Creative Circle, Ciclope, and the UK MVAs, among others.

Boucher, who’s established himself over the years as both a freelancer and a full-time editor at the likes of Marshall Street, has found a company that reflects his progressive approach to editing and affords him the chance to focus on more commercial work. “I’ve always admired the work that comes out of Whitehouse Post,” says the editor. “Whitehouse editors have cut some of the most brilliant and significant advertising ever produced, but I think what really sets the company apart is their forward-thinking approach. I was impressed with their desire to innovate, to question the way we go about our business and ask whether there’s a better or more interesting way to do things. Not simply to react to a rapidly evolving market but, to steal a phrase from Wayne Gretzky, to ‘skate to where the puck is going to be.’”

According to Whitehouse Post Managing Partner David Brixton, Boucher, who’s proven his ability to work in multiple disciplines and effectively collaborate with an assortment of directors and fellow creatives, will be a major asset to the company. “We’re thrilled that Ryan has decided to join us,” says Brixton. “His experience and talent are rare to find and he’s a great guy as well.”
