LOGAN Wins a Clio for ‘X-Men’ Marketing Campaign

LOGAN, a bicoastal content creation studio, has won a Clio award for a viral video marketing campaign created in direct partnership with 20th Century Fox for its blockbuster film X-Men: Apocalypse.

The viral video, entitled “Fables of the Flush & Fabulous,” is a sendup of the 1980s syndicated TV series Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, as it offers an early glimpse of the luxurious grounds of Professor X’s Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, his academy for Marvel’s superhero mutants.

The spot – which also is narrated by Lifestyles host Robin Leach – launched in May and was the second direct collaboration between LOGAN and 20th Century Fox on the X-Men: Apocalypse marketing campaign. The first spot, “In the Footsteps of … En Sabah Nur,” evokes the cult 1970s-80s syndicated television series “In Search of…” and is narrated by Star Trek’s George Takei.

X-Men: Apocalypse is LOGAN’s latest entertainment marketing campaign. Past projects include work for Spider-Man, Elder Scrolls, Infamous: Second Son,The Order: 1886, Resistance 2 and République. Recent work on brand campaigns include Apple, Nike, BMW, Clinique and Cisco, among others.
