The Sound Amplifies Capabilities, Adds Agency Vet Matt Palmer as VP/Head of Strategy

Globally-based exploration, strategy, and innovation agency The Sound has reinforced its culture-driven approach by welcoming ad agency mainstay Matt Palmer as VP, Head of Strategy.


Palmer joins The Sound carrying nearly two decades of agency planning and strategy experience, holding senior positions at the likes of FCB, JWT, DDB and Blast Radius. Along with his agency background, Palmer has a degree in anthropology and has spent time with indigenous populations of the desert Southwest and Andes mountains helping survey their unique cultural resources, a practice that informs his new role at The Sound. “I joined The Sound because I wanted to reconnect with the thing that great strategy is rooted in, people” he explains. “We believe that before all else, great strategy must be rooted in the profound, comedic, honest and sometimes frightening insights that we glean from the human condition.”
