Whitehouse Post Celebrates Chicago Bulls’ 50th Anniversary Ahead of New Season

With the 2015-2016 NBA regular season getting underway, the Chicago Bulls have launched a series of timely spots to commemorate its 50th anniversary in collaboration with editorial company, Whitehouse Post and VFX studio, The Mill.

The team that Michael Jordan led to six NBA championships in the ‘90s is ringing in their golden jubilee with a :60 anthem clip that traces the Bulls’ history from its expansion beginnings to the classic era of Bob “Butterbean” Love to the Jordan/Scottie Pippen dynasty to present-day stars such as Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah. Dan Zabinski at Whitehouse Post was tapped to cut an epic montage that must make the Bulls proud. “I found myself doing a lot of research online to find key moments in Bulls history that would work for the piece,” says Zabinski. “As a Chicagoan and lifelong basketball fan this was an exciting project to be a part of, and I enjoyed the chance to learn more about the Bulls and Chicago history.”

Along with the central “Good as Gold” anthem spot, the accompanying :30 ads “Tip-Off” and “Momentum” nicely whet the appetites of not just Bulls fans, but NBA enthusiasts everywhere. A passion project from Whitehouse Post, the spot is essentially a love letter to their hometown team.
