Little Minx Signs Dynamic Directing Duo Sea Chant

Production company Little Minx is proud to welcome directing couple Sea Chant, the Los Angeles based Carissa and Andrew Gallo, to their roster.

The filmmaking duo counts a who’s who roster of brands that they’ve collaborated with including Levi’s, Lincoln Motor Company, Nike, Intel and Toyota. Watching their work, Little Minx Founder and Executive Producer Rhea Scott boasts, “It made me want to eat granola, let my hair down and ride a bicycle. From a business standpoint, content that inspirational is invaluable, and I couldn’t be more excited about working with them.”

Combining Carissa’s background in still photography and Andrew’s technical work in TV production, the pair, which prides themselves on handling both the live action and still photography in their shoots, has a deep-rooted connection in not just aesthetics, but human relations. Says Carissa, “The focus is on beauty and what makes things resonate. Color is so important to me, I’m kind of obsessed with color palettes and human interactions. We like to take note of rich little dialogues, conversations we’re hearing. We’re curious about humanity, relationships and love.”

Regarding their move to Little Minx, Sea Chant notes, “As we continue to create more commercial material, we needed support to take our work to the next level. We were already familiar with Little Minx’s work and knew that we’d be in good hands.”
