Nomad Adds Executive Producer Tommy Murov to the Los Angeles Office
Following the launch of a world-class VFX and finishing division, global post-production studio Nomad hires Tommy Murov as Executive Producer in their Los Angeles office. Murov joins the studio with extensive industry experience spanning ad agencies and production studios including Final Cut, Radical Media, and Spot Welders.
Murov is tasked with creative development and scaling talent teams across all the offices to tackle demanding global projects. “Tommy’s knowledge of markets on both the East and West Coasts and his keen eye for new opportunities makes him a unique EP for creative development” says Nomad Founder/Editor Glenn Martin.
Murov’s career highlights include Clio-winning spot “Butterfly” for Honda and “Pump” also for the automaker that won several honors including an International Monitor Award for Best National Commercial and Best Special Effects. Additionally, he’s also produced notable work for a number of top brands including: Target, T-Mobile, Toyota, United Airlines, and Nike to name a few.
“I found that the partners and upper management and I were all in agreement about how to highlight their great brand as the business model of advertising keeps evolving.” notes Murov. “They presented me with a sort of hybrid-like opportunity that really suits my skill-set and my agency and post production background. I have a great new platform that allows me to promote Nomad in a way that clients understand.”
In addition to Murov, Nomad has promoted Susye Melega to Managing Director. In her new role, she will be responsible for growing the studio’s creative roster, creating new sources of revenue, and unifying brand messaging across Nomad’s global offices and divisions.
