/WILDCHILD/, the award-winning NYC-based creative post-production studio, is joining forces with premiere West Coast post studio bonch to form /WILDCHILD/ + bonch. In the newly established partnership, LA-based bonch will represent /WILDCHILD/’s ever-expanding roster throughout the West Coast for a variety of commercial and feature-length projects, while /WILDCHILD/ will act in the same capacity out East for bonch’s accomplished roster.
The partnership follows a string of exciting developments at each company. bonch ended 2013 with a flurry of impressive new additions to their company reel – contributing editorial on new short-form films for Saint Laurent Paris, Cavalli, Lana Del Rey, and several others. Meanwhile, /WILDCHILD/ delivered new editorial work for Cadillac, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Sundance Audience Award-winning feature film Metro Manila, and expanded its roster with Executive Producer Melissa Miller and the addition of Editors Richard Mettler and Stewart Shevin. The two companies were also jointly responsible for editorial on a total of five music videos for Beyoncé, contributing to over a third of the music videos from the pop icon’s expansive visual album.
“After meeting the people at /WILDCHILD/ it felt like this was meant to be – they are talented, creative, and down to earth,” said bonch Owner and Editor Jarrett Fijal, who has worked with Directors Floria Sigimondi, Anthony Mandler, David LaChapelle, Jake Nava and Peter Glanz, among many more, and whose work on Justin Timberlake’s music video, Mirrors, recently earned a VMA for Best Editing. “Partnering up with them has given us a combined roster of talent that can compete on the highest level. I really feel that the sky is the limit. I’m very excited to see what this year has in store – with /WILDCHILD/ on our side, I think it’s going to be amazing.”
The new partnership will effectively serve to combine the two brands strengths, establishing an integrated roster with top editors in Beauty, Fashion, short- and long-form Visual Storytelling, Multicultural markets, and more. Both locations offer the breadth of post-production services from offline to finishing and everything in between.
