California Amish Adds Director Lily Henderson

California Amish has added award-winning documentary film director and editor Lily Henderson to its roster.

Henderson’s clients have included Current TV, Ogilvy Entertainment, AOL, the BBC, Huffington Post and the Biography Channel. Her emotionally resonant work includes a pair of moving Web docs for IBM’s five-part Smarter Planet series, the Telly- and Davey-winning Meet James Salter Web doc, and Lessons for Living, which debuted at the Global Peace Film Festival. She is currently developing her next documentary, About a Mountain, with a grant from Cinereach.

“Lily is an expert at creating stories that are at once moving, interesting and human, while expertly delivering a brand’s message,” explains California Amish EP and Managing Partner Chris Hughlett, “We are pleased to add her to our roster of creative professionals.”

A two-year resident and curator for the documentary film center UnionDocs in Brooklyn, Henderson was a member and co-organizer of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective for six years.
