Gentleman Scholar Gears Up for Back to School with Best Buy
Gentleman Scholar is getting in the back-to-school spirit with a dynamic three-spot campaign for Best Buy via Crispin Porter + Bogusky. The creative studio designed and produced a series of rich end cards for the spots, animating drop-down banners and comping them over the live-action footage.
Not content to deliver a one-size-fits-all solution for the project, Gentleman Scholar added subtle details to the banners to better integrate them with the settings of each individual spot. In “Game Designer”, a post-apocalyptic video game scene gives way to a slightly frayed and tattered banner embellished with heavy chains. The spots also provides a perfect showcase for Gentleman Scholar’s 3D rendering skills, with animators delivering a series of photoreal CG product renderings for each.
