Anca Risca – Director/Creative Director
Since Nathan Love’s founding in 2007, Director/Creative Director Anca Risca has served as a versatile talent for the design and animation studio. Risca originally signed on to Nathan Love as an Art Director, growing into the role of Director/Creative Director through years of hands-on experience in many aspects of production. In any role, Risca possesses a natural ability for expressing personality, character, and branding through strong visuals. Recent credits include 3D animated spots for Oregon Lottery and Stridex, as well as more recent 2D animated campaign for Sweet ‘N Low and Perdue.
An instructor at the School of Visual Arts, Risca has spoken at the F5 Festival and has been featured in IdN Infographics for work on the short film Lilium Urbanus. Since joining Nathan Love in 2008, she has been the studio’s resident artist, cranking out “Avatards” of its many new team members. Risca began work in the production industry as a freelancer at Psyop while earning her BFA in computer art at the School of Visual Arts, and just before launching her career with Nathan Love.
