SMNY Handles VFX for Oscar-Nominated The New Tenants
The Brief
Smoke & Mirrors New York (SMNY) VFX/Flame Artist Sam Caine handled all post and effects for Director Joachim Back's Oscar-nominated The New Tenants. The film, which has been nominated in the Academy Awards' Live-Action Short Film category, tells the terrifying story of two men who move into an apartment and discover its cursed history through a disturbed cast of neighbors.
The Oscars air Sunday, March 7 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
