Editor Patrick Griffin, who has worked with a long list of A-level directors, agencies and brands, is setting up shop at jumP LA, further cementing the studio's left-coast operation as a go-to shop for post production needs across the spectrum.
Griffin's editing prowess was most recently seen in a KIA campaign with Blake Griffin, shot by Pretty Bird Director Paul Hunter. He has also teamed up with directors Matt Aselton, David Shane, Errol Morris and Brian Buckley, and worked with the legendary Roger Corman from 1999 to 2000. He frequently collaborates with agencies such as GS&P, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Team Mazda.
Griffin joins the studio from Arcade Edit, and also spent time at Harley's House and with current jumP LA EP Betsy Beale at Lost Planet. "I am thrilled to be working with Patrick again," gushed Beale. "He is an absolute wizard in the edit room and is a director's dream when it comes to transforming vision into a final product."
"Everything about jumP LA is top notch, and I'm thrilled to be a part of such a open group," said Griffin. "Betsy and I have a tremendous working relationship, and I look forward to collaborating with everyone else as well."
Managing Director Dee Tagert added, "I first met Patrick a couple of years ago and am now so thrilled to have him onboard in LA. I will enjoy his coming to cut in New York too! He is an incredible talent, plus a wonderful human being."
