FEEDTHEWALRUS Feasts On NX Energy Drink
FEEDTHEWALRUS unleashed its ever-growing talent roster for the first phases of a comprehensive ongoing project for NX Energy Drink, providing web designers, graphic designers, producers, photographers, sound designers, Flash animators, and behind-the-scenes programmers. The campaign comes as NX is poised to establish a prominent position in the US energy drink market.
NX initially contacted FEEDTHEWALRUS solely to design a basic website, but they were so impressed with the work and the speed and skill with which it was accomplished that they signed the company on for the entire five-stage web development plan without hesitation. "NX gave us some basic graphic-design work and we were able to repurpose that not only for a website design, but much more," noted FEEDTHEWALRUS cofounder Adam Jenkins. "Having a Direct-to-client relationship with a company like NX is something FEEDTHEWALRUS was initially designed to do and we're having a great time collaborating with them. It's also a great showcase of the awesome variety of talent we've recruited and the scale and diversity of projects we plan to take on in the future."
"It's great that a rapidly expanding company like NX is finding that it has all the resources that it needs in one place with FEEDTHEWALRUS," noted cofounder Jeff Stevens. "This company is poised for something major - you'll see how major very soon - and the fact that they trust us to shepherd them through this process is a great validation of our growing operation."
Aside from organizing photo shoots in Las Vegas and designing graphically adventurous web pages - in which FEEDTHEWALRUS improbably but impressively combined bikini-clad babes, motorcycles, race cars, bottles, and the company's flaming logo - the collective's talent designed an array of branding and merchandise including NX Delivery trucks, various swag items and POS displays. More design work is planned in the near future, along with interactive web components, further organization of shoots, and more.
NX was in many ways an ideological fit for FEEDTHEWALRUS - both companies were formed by a pair of hard-working idealists bent on transforming their industries. In NX's case, South African native Tom Lines (prodigious former owner of Black Death vodka) and VC Paul Robinson worked to bring the new drink from concept to reality to burgeoning phenomenon. FEEDTHEWALRUS is determined to redefine the production process with a model of maximum flexibility centered around top talent.
