Ryan Dunn: Executive Creative Director

Ryan Dunn is a director and creative director with New York City-based creative design studio Charlex whose work combines classical animation, motion design and live action elements.

His most recent commercial projects include VZ Vuelo, a spot for Latin telecom brand Globalhue, McDonald's What We're Made Of for DDB, Chicago and the mixed-media Symbols for Rotary and Romani Bros., Chicago. Other recent commercial projects include NCPC Cyber Bully, AT&T Frustration and aerie Follow the Bird.

Dunn has been directing spots and creative directing post-production on commercial projects for more than a decade. For the past four years, Dunn lived in Chicago where he worked at Vitamin Pictures alongside director Vince Haycock. Together they helmed dreamlike animated romance "Float" for Microsoft Zune and 72andSunny, Los Angeles. Prior he spent three years in Portland on the client side curating gallery shows and producing grassroots campaigns for Nike's energy marketing department, and before that he worked as an associate creative director at Digital Kitchen, Chicago with Haycock and Shilo founder Andre Stringer overseeing projects for brands such as HBO, Microsoft, Sony and Budweiser.
