audioEngine Mixes Iconic W magazine Doc
audioEngine Mixer Tom Goldblatt, working via Lost Planet Editorial and LEGS MEDIA, recently mixed a documentary-style Web promo showcasing the recent redesign and overhaul of W magazine. The 11:12 documentary piece follows Editor in Chief Stefano Tonchi as he guides the viewer through the new W, introducing the writers, editors, photographers, models and celebrities at the magazine's core. Stefano details the future-shaping makeover, from its logo change to a cover-format alteration to a new layout, providing exclusive insight into the restyling and publication of the legendary magazine, known for its famous thought provoking shoots.
Lost Planet's Paul Snyder approached audioEngine for the project. "Paul loves working with audioEngine, and the feeling is mutual," stated Goldblatt. "We were completely psyched when he approached us with this, especially when we found out that it was a LEGS production. Their work is always outstanding and this was no exception."
