Get Screen Envy with audioEngine's Take on the Samsung Galaxy Tab™

audioEngine's Rex Recker teamed up with VIA Group and Leo Burnett to mix the latest campaign for the Galaxy Tab, Samsung Mobile's answer to the emerging tablet market. In Tree, directed by Humble's Samuel Bjarki Pétursson and Gunnar Páll Ólafsson, guitar riffs fade in as a man sits at the bus stop and video chats on his Galaxy Tab while his bench mates look on over his shoulder. He twists and turns in Matrix-like freeze frame, showcasing the adaptability of the Galaxy Tab with pie charts, movies and even Angry Birds. The spot ends with a shot of all of the frames superimposed on one another, forming a tree, as a warm voiceover states, "the PC has evolved."

aE mixer, Rex states, "The mix was tricky. We didn't want the copy to fall over the cut in the traditional see and say style, but we wanted something that created a more abstract vibe. Where we ended up totally achieved that goal."
