Asylum Honored for Outstanding VFX at the VES AwardsPremier VFX and design studio Asylum nabbed the award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Video Game Trailer for Halo 3: ODST, The Life at last night's 8th Annual VES Awards. Done in collaboration with MJZ's Rupert Sanders and T.A.G, the live-action short captures the evolution of Tarkov, a ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper), from his initiation and training as a soldier to his perilous experience on the battlefield as a true warrior. Asylum's team is currently working on Sorcerer's Apprentice, a feature slated to premier July 2010.
